These orthotics help promote natural foot function which includes improving stability, adding shock absorption, and alleviating pain. It is available in Size B (men’s size 6.5 to 7 and women’s size 6.5 to 8). Features The recessed area under the first metatarsal head accommodates the plantar-flexed first ray and allows hindfoot eversion, unlocking the subtalar joint. The elevated heel works to cushion heel strike force and tight calf musculature. The DonJoy Arch Rival orthotic inserts are manufactured with X-Static Technology, an anti-odor, thermodynamic material that actively eliminates odors. Silver-coated fibers woven into the surface layer help distribute heat throughout the orthosis which decreases friction and hotspots, and helps prevent blisters and odor. The inserts are intended to fit most athletic and walking shoes. Because of the wide range of shoe styles, these orthotics are designed with excess material length-wise, allowing them to be trimmed at the toe area for a custom fit. Simply place your foot on the insert to ensure the ball of your foot is properly aligned to the recessed circle before cutting. It includes one complete pair of orthotic inserts (one left foot and one right foot).
