This stroke hand splint is soft and comfortable, while also reducing and preventing the painful flexion contractions that can plague people throughout the recovery process. These same issues with curling of fingers and flexing of fingers can be a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome and later stages of Parkinson’s. Luckily, this functional hand splint eases those symptoms, and can be used for long term relief. The aluminum splint is moldable, enabling achievement of the desired thumb and hand position. Place the finger on the finger rest and place the thumb in the thumb guide. Firstly, close the Velcro fastener on the metacarpus and on the fingers. Finally, close the Velcro fastener on the thumb and wrist/lower arm. Removal  Open all the Velcro fasteners and remove the brace.
